Welcome to our blog. As we move forward, we hope to share thoughts, information and pictures about wedding photography in general, and Araujo Photography in specific. I must admit that blogging is new to Cyndi and I and it will probably take awhile for us to get the hang of things. Eventually, we hope you find useful and fun "stuff" here :)
Anyway, it's been a very busy winter for us. Cyndi and I were very excited to have one of our images on the January cover of Whirl magazine as well as a featured wedding in that issue. The images were from the wedding of WPXI's Gordon Loesch and Bobbie Rivera:
We recently had a wonderful dinner with Bobbie and Gordon. That night we were very happy to bring along with us their recently completed and extremely beautiful wedding album!!! I don't know about Cyndi, but handing over a new wedding book is my absolute favorite thing about our business...You can see more of their images on our website: www.araujophoto.com.
Also in January, Cyndi and I were interviewed on KDKA-TV's "Pittsburgh Today Live!". The segment was hosted by John Burnett and Whirl publisher Christine Tumpson. Talk about nervous :) Poor Cyndi almost passed out! She definitely prefers being BEHIND the camera. Here's a link to the segment (sorry about the commercial, it's outta my control):
